No one should ever ask themselves:
why am I unhappy?
The question carries within it the virus that will destroy everything. If we ask that question it means we want to find out what makes us happy. If what makes us happy is different from what we have now, then we must either change once and for all or stay as we are, feeling even more unhappy.this is an excerpt from a book i have read... n i think it is true...
why should we think we are unhappy???... i think all of us should try to b happy in whatever we have... this fast paced life has made us forget what it is to be happy... we want more n more... crave for things that r unwanted... this leads to us feeling unsatisfied... we feel we dont have so many things... but do we ever realise that our wants r all materialistic???.. do we ever realise that we could do without these things we crave???
y not try to live with what we have n what comes our way rather than want more n more??.. y not b satisfied???... i know its very difficult to b satisfied these days...
take for example shopping... we just go to buy a dress n what all do we look for??... we check the shoes... we check purses... we check jewellery... n buy so much thats not really wanted... if we cant afford it we crib n crave... n again get unhappy about it... n if we can afford it we buy it wear if for a while n forget about it.... is this what we r looking out for???... is this the sort of happiness we want??
i think we should crave for happiness on a more spiritual level... happiness should b such that it brings us peace... makes us glow... makes us smile... makes us want to see others happy...
awww life can get tough sometimes... we might feel unhappy... might think this is all crap... but then i guess after a while we should bounce back... try to b happy... try to make others happy...
so lets make a pledge today... lets make a decision today...
i will always try to remain happy... will always try to forget my sadness... will always smile... and last of all will make others smile too...

when I feel unhappy thats usually not for a materialstic need. Seriously I dun get bummed by such needs. so usually I feel unhappy when I cant maintain my spiritual beliefs...u know something like being impatient or angry at something/someone...I hate feeling that way and it makes me unhappy that I dun live upto what I believe, even if's short-lived. So I work on restoring it and them Im happy :)

Exactly! Real happiness is achieved only by the above. I dunno how some ppl can be happy at another's misery but there are ppl like that. For me, if I cant see another happy (it could be my mum or sis or my friend), then I really cant be happy...so I always try to keep everyone happy and that way I am happy too.

Sometimes you expect too much from others and when you don't get that you just get depressed. Sometimes things just don't work the way you want them to. I don't know....I've been thinking a lot lately so I can just go on and on and on. But I won't say anything here :-)

Why am I unhappy?
I think the main reasons behind this question is lonliness, not knowing what one wants, false beliefs, misery, failure to achieving goals, ennui, relationship prbs and jealosy. Once these are resolved, happiness is bound to take over

i was used to be sooooooo unhappy..moody..even now (at times) i can easily feel sad..so, i will come back to my usual self within hours (a day at most)..
