hey all.... thanx for all the support that u have given me all through these months.... it feels so nice to know u have people who care for u... people who want to know wat u r up to... life has been up n down all this time... sometimes happy sometimes sad...

be it z00nie n his bizarreness or k00kie and that train accident... be it strawy with her question 'why' or pari with her 'miss my bro'... d00die with her 'cancer' post or pearlie with her 'death shatters'... n00nie with his 'pearly missing' or fay with her 'linking park'... icey with her 'doctor dreams' or am00nie with her 'malaysia trips'...

be it v00nie with his 'no names please' or cheesy with her 'london bombings'... be it misty with her 'truth and fib' or kr00pie with her camping pics.... peter with his colourful blog or wordy with his awesome poems... gr00nie with his cricket fever or g00nie with his google fever... wand00nie with his slap his teacher or vinu with his gift for sister... t00nie with her 'tears n goodbye' and sebia with her 'im bak wheres my sword?'

i m gonna miss u all.... (bonk me if i forgot nyone... tdm i left on purpose... darn he never visits my blog...grrrrr)

yeah m going on a 8 days long leave.... from the 1st of september to the 8th of september....

n naah its not that i m taking a break from all this or something.... more so for religious reasons....

we have an 8 day long religious festival called 'paryushan'... we fast and pray n generally i wont get the time to chat or nything.... so here is an opportunity to tell u guys about my religion...

i m a 'jain'... i dont think many of you would b knowing much about my religion.... so let me give u an idea about it...

* we r pure vegetarians to the extent that we r 'not supposed' to even eat underground plants...

* we believe in total non violence 'ahimsa'

* we believe that the moment u give up 'moh' n 'maya' u can achieve 'nirvana'

* our God is called 'Lord Mahavira'

* we believe that 'karma' is the main cause of watever u get in your life... good karma will get u good things in life and vice versa.... but the most important part here of our philosophy is the way u use these good things that u attain in life.... for example because of your 'good karma' u have attained a lot of wealth... now its upto u how ur going to spend this wealth... u can use it for good purposes like charity or make bad use of it like drinking and gambling... this in turn will decide on ur next karmic achievements... (my fave philosophy which i truly believe is right)

* when we pray we believe that we should pray for our soul rather than ask for materialistic things in life....

* our fasting is rather tough... no food at all for 8 days straight in a row... only boiled water that too during the day time... (people fast like this for 30 days in a row too!!!)

* we r not forced to fast... it depends on the will of a person if he/she wants to fast or not

* we have two sutras which we have to learn... one is called 'samaik' and the other is called 'pratikaman'

* 'samaik' is a general 48 min praying session where u can pray and read anything from our scriptures

* 'pratikaman' is a prayer that we have to do twice a day... n its asking for forgiveness for all the sins that you have committed all through the day... takes around an hour....

* when our 'paryushan' is over we have a major forgiveness asking ceremony where we ask for forgiveness from all the living beings... forgiveness if we have hurt them or if we have committed any sins...

i'd like to recite one part of our 'samaik' stotra here (with meaning) for u to understand the depth of our feelings for non violence for all living creatures... be it plants, animals or human beings...

abhihaya - if we have come across them and by mistake killed them
vattiya - we have covered them with mud
leshiya - killed them by stepping on them
sanghahiya - clashed them
sanghatiya - touched them causing pain
pariyaviya - caused pain or wounds on them
kilamiya - stupefied them
udaviya - scared them
thana o thanan sankamiya - picked them up n kept them at some other place
jiviyao vavaroviya - killed them totally (knowingly or unknowingly)
tassa michami dukkadam - then i ask for ur forgiveness (note that forgiveness is not asked to God its asked to the living organisms)

theres more ofcoz but not for now....

i was planning to write a post since saturday... i know its been late... but something happened n i just didn't feel like writing anything... i chatted all day on ym... was on itimes too on sunday for say 5 hrs... but the moment i tried writing my blog i felt lost...

i m sure u must have passed through a phase when a few words said by someone hits u hard... this is what happened to me on saturday....

i was chatting with v00nie on ym when one of my frnd met me online... the moment he said hi i sensed something was wrong... n after enquiring he told me his dad was hospitalized... jaundice... n he had a tough night... ok now i was worried but wat hit me hard were his next words... "oh muse i was shit scared"...

i know what he meant by shit scared.... i have passed thru this phase myself... seeing someone u love very ill makes u shit scared... but then i asked myself y did it effect me so much???... i have never met his dad... i dont even know him... then y am i so worried???... i have not met my friend online since that day... i dont know how his dad is... n i am still worried....

i m praying hard all day... hope nothings wrong... n i want ur prayers too... because i believe in the power of prayers... i hope my 00nies will help me out in this...

reasone 2 for prayers is a small baby called alisha... if u know zilli... alisha is his niece... i met zilli on ym yesterday n he showed me a pic of alisha... oh shes such a sweet baby... n shes suffering from tumor... she had to go through chemos to help her survive... i m sure shes a strong baby to go through all this... i can't imagine me being so strong... when we r hale n hearty we never realise how much suffering is there in this world...

therefore do pray for her n her family so that they can pass through this testing phase of life... it'll help a lot guys...

awww it was one hell of a weekend... damn m so very very tired... i know u guys missed me... (lol i hope so)... actually there was this was a very very secret mission that z00n n myself had planned... but since this mission was successful i thought i'd share it with u guys... :)

i m sure u all r wondering what crap is this madam talking about... but believe me this is all for the best interests of our 00nie club...

12th Aug : z00nie n m00nie caught a flight to sydney...

13th Aug : reached sydney airport n called n00nie (nv for those who dont know) whos based in melbourne... we had to call him to get to know about miss mysterious k00kie... so we got some details n called k00kie from the airport...

now our conversation goes like this...

k00kie : hello..whos here?

z00nie : awwww k00kie my e-sis this is z00nie hugssssssssssss. m00nie n myself r in sydney come n pik us up we are at the airport...

k00kie : z00nie wats u doing in sydney? n however did u get my number...

(now i pull the phone from z00n n talk to her)

m00nie : awwww k00kie muahhhhhhhhh we just came to see u. come n pik us up...

k00kie agrees after some explanation...

half n hour later we r at the cafe at the airport n we see someone...

z00nie : hey m00nie look there.. isnt she salma hayek???? o la la...

m00nie : urghhhhhhhhhhh z00n shes k00kie... remember she told u she looks a little like salma???

so here was k00kie...

k00kie : hey guys hugsssssssss to both of u this is a surprise

n then she was in for a bigger surprise... i open my bag n remove something which shocks her...

m00nie : what do u think this is??? damn its sebiaz sword. we r here to bonk u with this sword coz u never gave us ur facts...

lol n then we run after k00kie all over the airport trying to bonk her... thud!!!!... urghhh i fall down... ouch that hurt... (psst i was just acting)... k00kie seeing me fall runs to help me n that was the time i catch her... hehehe... she didnt know me yet...

so then we take her to this pizza place... (z00nies idea)... n ask her to get us some facts about her... some known some unknown... z00nie sits right opposite her trying to figure out who looks better... salma hayek or k00kie... n i stand right behind k00kie to see that she dare not run away again....

k00kie : grrrrrrrr u guys r too much... ok ok here r my facts...

(1) i love to flirt with some of the guys on itimes.... i dont visit there much now... but when i used to go there i flirted a lot... my muahhhhhh n hugssssssss were awaited by all the guys around.. hehe

(2) then i started blogging... 1st october 2004... n i was addicted... infact i still m... :)

(3) on itimes i would gang up with all my girl friends n rag the guys who would try to venture in our chat room

(4) "Hack it away if you still haven't come out of your dungeon...after all, it's just another blog mate!" this is what i had to say when someone hacked my blog

(5) i love rum n raisin n strawberry ice cream... yummy

(6) i was a butterfly at my kindy concert :) i remember running around carrying large yellow wings and the flowers were seated on the floor - LOL! it was cute and i loved being a butterfly, so carefree and happy. at the time i took it so serious that days before the concert, i used to keep the beautifully structured wings under my bed to protect them and not get stolen or lost. every morning i used to check under the bed to see if they were there...i loved my wings. but after the concert i had to give them back to my kindy teacher :( as i grew up, i realised that wings can be clipped, some butterflies fall, some fly high, some wings are colorful and some are plain...some have all the freedom, some don't. And the most beautiful butterflies get hurt...

(7) i used to make different kinds of food for my dad...i was only about 6 then! i used to put my apron on, mix flour and water in a bowl, add sugar and butter and make some sticky stuff, then bake them in wiggly shapes :) then i used to place them carefully on a serving tray and give it to my dad with the biggest smile ever. he always ate them with happy expressions on his face - hehehe...no matter how hard it was to bite or how yukky it must have tasted :) looking back i realise that people who love you will accept you for who you are...no matter what you are like or what you do. people who expect too much from you are trying to make you someone else...someone that you are not...

(8) i love anchovies and pepperoni as my pizza topping :)

(9) i participated in a beauty pageant in year 4 but i lost it :(

z00nie : damn i should have been the judge then... u sure look better than salma :D

friends

some months back i was writing my diary (i wasn't introduced to blogging then) and i thought why not mention some fond memories of my friends.... so i made two sections there.... one for my guy friends and one for my girl friends... and if u have read my 99 facts you would know what i m about to say :)

and i was and am totally ashamed... ashamed of the fact that i have only 2 girl friends (i aint talking about my virtual life yet)... and the list of my guy friends is hugeeeeee... hehe this is m00nie guys... i have been living with guys all my life... no sisters n all... so m so very very comfortable with guys around me... ok i know you wouldnt believe me but i was in an all girls convent school but then too i dont have many girl friends... its just that i don't gel very well with them... ok ok later about my likes n dislikes about girls...

this post is more of a dedication to my friends around the world... it might get a little long but then i have so many friends u see... :)

i have been tagged by ice princess who wrote a beautiful post on her friends... and i request all my 00nies to do the same if they want to...

so here we go...

(1) well the earliest remembrance i have is of my friend tasneem... we were partners in our 4th grade n we were best friends from day one!!!... whenever we went for a school trip we were together... we have been to kashmir, delhi, agra, nepal, darjeeling, calcutta etc... together... when i was in 6th grade we had a school trip to singapore and my granddad refused to send me cause i was very young... her dad did not allow her to go too... we are still friends... same college... same classes... same group of friends... n we talk to each other every second day... i would go with her family on long trips too... lol i'll share one funny experience with u guys...

we were in college then... n as u know we were fast friends and were always together... now there was this amazing hunk in our college who would keep on staring at our gang... especially when both of us were around... lol since we were always together till date we dont know who he liked... :)

urghhhhhh kya karen... negative effect of always being together... lol

(2) next is preeti... we are again school friends... she is elder to me.. but her dad n my dad were friends so by default we were friends too... lol remember that guy who kept on proposing to me (for those who dont know read 99 facts)... that was her cousin and her wedding i was talking about... ok now shes a bigger chatterbox than me too... n whenever she calls she talks to rakesh (hubby darling) more than she talks to me... lol

hehe girl friends over... sigh!!!!

now the longer list... brace urselves... (ok now since i dont want to bore you all i m just giving u an edited version... i got loads of guy friends than the number u read here)

(1) i met him when i was working... became fast friends on day one... darshik... hes in australia today... but he calls me every weekend and talks to me till i yell at him about his phone bills... lol... he knows i m cellophobic... (really guys i dont own a cell n when anyone asks me why i tell them i prefer living in stone age)... hehe.. so smart chap hes sending me a cell phone from there!!!... ufffff... i aint gonna accept if... dare he send me one!!!

(2) manish... i know him since 10 years now... i met him when we had gone for a picnic through our rotaract club... one hell of an amazing guy... if u guys achieve even 10% of what hes acheived in the last 10 years since i have known him then i'd call u a winner all the way... he didnt know to speak english when he entered college... n today if u meet him u'd never know... when we met some months ago he told me hes planning to buy a merc in a years time.... yoooooo hoooooooo... so now i get a ride in one... hehe... i love the cars he drives... wowwie... hes got 2 of the cutest kids i have ever seen... oh they r a bunch of brats but what the hell... :)

(3) he was my colleague... nirav... a sweetheart... a fun loving guy... fantastic person... he hates talking on phone n hates chatting on msn or ym... did i forget to mention hes into IT??? ... uffff n he says he hates computers... hehe... oh dont be fooled by his quiet demeanor... hes a devil... lol... and hes a bachelor... so ny one??? ... oh n hes cute n loves to dance... when we were working together we would fool all our colleagues telling them we were going around... hehe n they believed us... u wouldnt believe the stories we made... nyone wants a writer for balaji telefilms?.... we r available :)

(4) raj... oh boy! was he a duffer in college.... hehe we still call him that... n today hes done his LLM and got a solicitors degree... n now hes going to appear for some exams in london... ufff too much... none of us even dreamt hes gonna reach this stage... see what happens when u have your goals set... whoaaaaa... ok raj if ur reading this our party at taj is still pending.. damn it when r we going????

(i have loads of other friends but i'd stop here coz i want to mention some amazing net friends i have met)

so heres my virtual list... :)

(1) ofcoz u'd know whos the first... my muse... lol i think i mention him in every second post that i write... i know him since 10 months now.... oh we can go on chatting for hours... we have never met n will meet only 21 years from now... hes the most amazing person i have met online... and he knows all of u... he hardly ever comments on my posts but he reads them religiously... lol sometimes i scream at him if he hasnt read them... (i can b a tyrant sometimes)... earlier he was the first person who would read my posts... but these days he busy busy busy... grrrrrrrr... i miss himmmmmmmmm...

(2) z00nie... oh all u guys know him... ok none of u other than hagrid know him personally... so let me describe him... k00kie remember u asked me??? ... lol tall dark handsome... n hes got the best sense of humour.... (since u know him n read his posts i wont mention much here)

(3) uttam... hes currently in the US... met him on itimes... n hes the first guy i know who wants to become a politician.... he knows more about indian politics staying in US than i know even though i stay in india... he says he wanted to be my friend coz he was impressed by my itimes id... (for those who dont know its mesmerising.eyes)... we have a deal... i have to chat with him everyday for atleast 5 mins... ufff it gets difficult bcoz of the time difference... hey uttam if ur reading this happy friendship day...

(4) v00nie... a mad hatter... u know him ofcoz... mr invincible... lol hes got a fantastic sense of humour... now i got something for u guys... get me his real name and i treat you... what say??? ...

(5) when i first met him on itimes his id was 30minutes... smart chap... did not chat to me in the start... but the moment i mentioned books he rattled so many names i was impressed... hehe... now hes a very good friend of mine... n is trying to woo me knowing quiet well i m married...hehe... just kidding...

oh i can go on n on n on... but i think i will stop here... if u realise i havent mentioned t00nie, k00kie, dewdy, icy, fay, peter, kroopa, nv, pearlie, zombie, cheesy, wordy, strawy,pari, hagrid n the others... but guys please forgive me... 2 reasons

hey all 000niessssssssss... muahhhhhhhhhhhhh to u... i know all of u have been waiting for this since long... ufff but couldnt help it guys... first the showers in mumbai (again i dont think 'shower' is the appropriate word) and then some of my 000nies (pearly, pari and icy) couldn't decide on names for themselves... so all i want to say to this is ufffffffffffff... n if sebia was around she'd say grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... oh damn wheres she???......... m missing her n her sword... psst... t00nie n m00nie (thats me ofcoz) have got special rights to use sebiaz sword whenever she isnt around... so guyssssss beware (by guys i specially mean TDM).... hey n if nyone of u meet him tell him i got a blog for him... n he better visit it or else he knows that we r after him with the sword ;)

now on the updates of our prestigious club....

(1) one of our foundation member celebrated his birthday on 3rd august... z00nie as u all know is in mumbai... so he invited h00gie (thats hagrid) n me for a b'day bashhhhhhhhh.... we went to this amazing outlet called bombay blues at phoenix mills compound.... h00gie was late coz he had to pick a friend n get there... so z00nie n me were waiting n waiting till it was 3 pm... ufffffffff.... thn we decided to order for ourselves........ so we had pizzas n pasta n nachos.... n by the time h00gie n his frnd got in we had hogged n hogged... hehe... we offered some leftovers to h00gie.... (punishment guys).... n then (hold ur breath)........ we had a lemon cake for z00nieeeeeeeee... yeah from all of us 00nies......... (and all the other patrons of the place were wondering wat was this z00nie thing we kept on singing).... hehe how i loved the look on his face.... n there was a card from all of us.... (i know k00kie is sobbing coz she missed this amazing party)... oh guys! we missed all of u... n specially k00kie n t00nie our foundation members....

oh n i forgot i got some amazing fererros from z00nie n i didnt share them wth nyone :).... mean aint i???.. oh how i love being mean sometimes....

(2) if m00nie II (for those who r new here m00nie II isnt me but z00nies turtle) doesnt behave himself/herself i m going to disown him... damn he ate z00nies angel fish... oh boy!!!! i m so sorrie z00nie

(3) k00kie if i dont get ur 99 facts in the next three days i promise the day i set foot in sydney i m gonna run after u with sebiaz sword!!!

(4) invincible (v00nie) has just put up his facts n they r the funniest i have read.... lol (he keeps on counting the number of times i keep on lolling whn i chat wth him.. so add one more mister)

(5) 'p00nie' is the most sought after name in our club.... pearly, ice princess and peter r vying for the name 'p00nie'... ice princess is the official one whos named p00nie but pearly thinks it rhymes nicely with nv's 'n00nie' so guys decide soon... oh n peter my request to u... pls get a new name.... i know ur a sweetheart.... how abt sw00nie??? sounds rhyming to sweetheart na?? lol if u dont like this name get a new one for urself....

(6) now before we have the baptism ceremony i would like to request something... the moment ur commenting on this post do write the official 00nie name u would like, the place where u r residing as of now and ur b'days... we will have a bash for all our 00nies... wat say???

(7) strawy has a nice idea for our club but i m not sure if it really is feasable... she asks us to collect money n help people who r in need... but as this is an international :) club i m not sure whether we can do this... if u guys have ny ideas pls pls do get back to me... we'll try our best strawy... thanx for the idea...


(8) last but not the least... hugzzz to all my 00nies who got me 99 (50 sometimes) facts abt themselves... its so nice to know all of u.... its a pleasure to have such lovely people around.... muahhhhhhhhh again....

the affair

we never knew he loved her so much. no one knew till some days back. i dont think she knew this herself. he would visit her every year and show her he loved her in subtle ways. he would shower her with gifts every second day but she never realised. she never really realised. she liked him. the year he didnt have time for her she would miss him. miss him loads.

but there was a problem. his love for her reached a point of desperation this year. and he wanted her to know this. so he made up his mind to make her realise this. come what may!!!

so this year he came to mumbai with a plan in mind. he was going to make her his. he would not allow her family and friends to trample upon his feelings. the day he reached mumbai he saw she was very happy to see him. yeah she liked him for sure. but did she love him??? he didnt know. so he thought he'd play a game with her to find out.

so for days together he hid himself away from her. she would pine for him but he wouldn't go near her. she would call for him. ask the people around her to look for him but to no avail. this is the time she realised she loved him too. could not live without him for long. she had to be with him for sometime every year because she could not accompany him wherever he went.

(now we know what happens when two lovers meet. what happens after 'judaai'. we have seen enough of recent bollywood films to know that :))

so the day they met it rained. there was passion all around. lips met lips. bodies entwined in one. lust spiralled. they didnt bother about the people around them. the people on their part could not believe what they were seeing. was this some mirage or was this really happening? their love making in the start was wonderful... but as it went on and on the people were scared. this shouldn't be happening like this. they turned their back to the lovers. the lovers did not even realise this. their love for each other was so deep that they did not bother about the feelings of others. their love threatened to destroy all. everything and everyone!!!

this went on for such a long time that we gave up hope of things ever getting normal around her. she was in love. she felt the passion the lust the want. and to tell you the truth she could not do anything about this herself. but what about the people around her??? all scared to hell that they would lose her. they did not want to lose her. they loved her so much. she was their life. but they could not do anything about it. they only hoped he would notice. he would go away leaving her alone. stop this endless madness.

so her friends and family prayed. prayed to the RAINGOD.

"Oh! God please leave our beloved MUMBAI alone for this year. we have had enough of you. don't YOU see the destruction YOUR love for her has caused??? we love YOU too but please let us live. we have lost enough. come back next year and we will love YOU more. oh and please could you just leave this sort of passion and lust for YOUR other love Cherapunji? :) "

(for those who dont know Cherapunji is the wettest place in the world and all of us here who have seen this love affair between the Rain God n mumbai wish HE keeps on loving his first love more than he has started loving mumbai)
