the affair

we never knew he loved her so much. no one knew till some days back. i dont think she knew this herself. he would visit her every year and show her he loved her in subtle ways. he would shower her with gifts every second day but she never realised. she never really realised. she liked him. the year he didnt have time for her she would miss him. miss him loads.

but there was a problem. his love for her reached a point of desperation this year. and he wanted her to know this. so he made up his mind to make her realise this. come what may!!!

so this year he came to mumbai with a plan in mind. he was going to make her his. he would not allow her family and friends to trample upon his feelings. the day he reached mumbai he saw she was very happy to see him. yeah she liked him for sure. but did she love him??? he didnt know. so he thought he'd play a game with her to find out.

so for days together he hid himself away from her. she would pine for him but he wouldn't go near her. she would call for him. ask the people around her to look for him but to no avail. this is the time she realised she loved him too. could not live without him for long. she had to be with him for sometime every year because she could not accompany him wherever he went.

(now we know what happens when two lovers meet. what happens after 'judaai'. we have seen enough of recent bollywood films to know that :))

so the day they met it rained. there was passion all around. lips met lips. bodies entwined in one. lust spiralled. they didnt bother about the people around them. the people on their part could not believe what they were seeing. was this some mirage or was this really happening? their love making in the start was wonderful... but as it went on and on the people were scared. this shouldn't be happening like this. they turned their back to the lovers. the lovers did not even realise this. their love for each other was so deep that they did not bother about the feelings of others. their love threatened to destroy all. everything and everyone!!!

this went on for such a long time that we gave up hope of things ever getting normal around her. she was in love. she felt the passion the lust the want. and to tell you the truth she could not do anything about this herself. but what about the people around her??? all scared to hell that they would lose her. they did not want to lose her. they loved her so much. she was their life. but they could not do anything about it. they only hoped he would notice. he would go away leaving her alone. stop this endless madness.

so her friends and family prayed. prayed to the RAINGOD.

"Oh! God please leave our beloved MUMBAI alone for this year. we have had enough of you. don't YOU see the destruction YOUR love for her has caused??? we love YOU too but please let us live. we have lost enough. come back next year and we will love YOU more. oh and please could you just leave this sort of passion and lust for YOUR other love Cherapunji? :) "

(for those who dont know Cherapunji is the wettest place in the world and all of us here who have seen this love affair between the Rain God n mumbai wish HE keeps on loving his first love more than he has started loving mumbai)
